For the Type and Layout of this project it was important to create a distant and strict look. The serif lettering for the song features odd interventions and rounded edges to give it a warmth despite the contrast. A small nod to her cyrillic roots in a very advertising friendly rounded Futura-esque Typeface for the artist’s name ties together the loose ends of these cryptic and almost religious interpretations of fashion and music.
Bezüglich der Typo und des Layouts des Projektes war es wichtig, einen distinkten und strengen Look zu erschaffen. Die Serifenschrift für den Song wird durch seltsame Eingriffe und abgerundete Kanten gewärmt, um im Kontrast nicht zu erfrieren. Eine kleine Anspielung auf ihre kyrillischen Wurzeln in einem sehr werbefreundlichen, abgerundeten Typeface für den Namen der Künstlerin verknüpft die losen Enden dieser kryptischen und fast religiösen Interpretation von Fashion und Musik.

But every good song today needs a good roll-out strategy. Thus many more similar artworks featuring photos from the cover-shoot and a hype video had to be created. A chaotic feeling from layered images turning upside down or changing position rapidly, showing just how it really feels, when your loved one says they feel better “This Way”.
Heutzutage benötigt jeder gute Song eine gute Roll-Out-Strategie. Im Rahmen dieses Masterplans wurden mehrere Fotos vom Cover-Shoot mit ähnlichen Artworks verknüpft und ein Hype-Video erschaffen. Ein chaotisches Gefühl von überlagernden Bildern, die sich auf den Kopf drehen oder ihre Position schwindelerregend schnell verändern, zeigt uns, wie es sich wirklich anfühlt, wenn ein Partner sagt “I feel better This Way”.
